The series has been directed by Ruchir Arun (Little Things, What The Folks), Tahira Kashyap Khurrana (Zindagi inShort), Anand Tiwari (Bandish Bandits), Danish Aslam (Flesh, It’s Not That Simple), Jaydeep Sarkar, Sachin Kundalkar (Happy Journey, Aiyaa) and Devrath Sagar.

Feels Like Ishq starts streaming on July 23rd 2021 on Netflix.

The Tomorrow War

Chris Pratt is battling aliens…again. In the movie, Pratt stars as a high school teacher and veteran who is drafted to fight a war that hasn’t happened yet. The Tomorrow War was to release in theatres last year, but after the pandemic, the film was delayed and is going direct to OTT. The military science fiction action film is directed by Chris McKay and stars Chris Pratt, J.K. Simmons, Yvonne Strahovski, Betty Giplin, Sam Richardson and Edwin Hodge in lead roles

The film will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The film releases on Amazon Prime Video on July 2nd 2021.

Turning The Tables with Robin Roberts will feature an intimate roundtable conversation between the “Good Morning America” anchor and three female celebrities from all walks of life. Disney Plus Hotstar released the trailer for the show which will premiere on July 28th 2021. Guests include Debbie Allen, Sofia Carson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenna Dewan, Sheila E., Melissa Etheridge, Mickey Guyton, Betsey Johnson, Billie Jean King, Tig Notaro, Raven-Symoné and Josie Totah.

Naomi Osaka- Season 1

This intimate series follows Naomi Osaka as she explores her cultural roots and navigates her multifaceted identity as a tennis champ and rising leader. World’s highest-paid female athlete came in news recently when she withdrew from the French Open after the ugly tussle with the Grand Slam officials over her saying no to attending the post-match press conference. Naomi cited social anxiety as the reason for her behaviour and how she wants to exercise self-care. It will be interesting to see what we get to know of Naomi in this series.

The series drops on Netflix on 13th July 2021.

‘Never Have I Ever’ Season 2

Never Have I Ever, which chronicles the life and times of Devi Vishwakumar, a first-generation Indian American who really wants to be cool and thinks her ticket to popularity is losing her virginity. According to the Season 2 trailer, we see Devi, played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, which of her crushes she should date before she moves back to India.

Never Have I Ever Season 2 will premiere on July 15th 2021 on Netflix.

State of Siege Temple Attack

Akshaye Khanna making his digital debut with this series which is loosely based on the events surrounding the terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gujarat in 2002. Akshaye plays the NSG officer charged with eliminating the terrorists and securing the area. The film is directed by Ken Ghosh and is a follow-up to ‘State of Seige: 26/11’. that was based around the Mumbai attacks in 2008.

The film releases on Zee5 on July 9th 2021.

Generation 56K

The Italian webseries revolves around a group of teens who in the late aughts were “overwhelmed by the arrival of the internet on the threshold of adolescence. The title refers to the watershed dial-up modem speed of new generation modems in the latter 2000s. The romantic comedy show focuses on two central characters named Daniel and Matilda whose lives change forever when the internet arrived.

Generation 56k will release on Netflix on 1st July 2021.

 Turner & Hooch

The Tom Hanks movie Turner & Hooch is rebooting as a webseries, 32 years after the original movie release. Josh Peck will be seen in the role of Scott Turner Jr., the son of Hanks’ original character. The premise of the story will remain the same- A detective solves crimes with the help of an oversized dog.

The series will premiere on July 16th 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Haseen Dillruba

The thriller film stars Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles. Taapsee plays the character of Rani who is a small-town girl and is married to Rishabh(Vikrant Massey). Rani likes to read murder mysteries and author Dinesh Pandit is her favourite. It so happens that Rishabh gets murdered. In the meantime, Rani’s relationship with Neel Tripathi (Harshwardhan)comes to light. But it’s unclear whether it’s Rani who has murdered her husband or Neel or someone else.

The Malayalam movie Cold Case starring Prithviraj is going directly to OTT. It’s an investigative thriller movie where Prithviraj plays the role of a cop who is embroiled in a strange situation, blending supernatural elements and a mysterious crime scene. The film is directed by Tanu Balak and written by Sreenath V Nath.

Cold Case will have its world premiere on 30th June 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.

Samantar- Season 2

The Marathi series stars Swwapnil Joshi who plays the character of Kumar Mahajan, a middle class guy who decides to alter his future.

Directed by Satish Rajwade, the second season resumes the story of Kumar Mahajan (Joshi) searching for Sudarshan Chakrapani, a man who had already lived Kumar’s life and could tell him what’s to happen in the time to come. In season 2, Kumar is handed a diary that details Chakrapani’s life, and he finds out that an “other woman” will soon come into his life.
