Savannah Smith expressed her excitement about the project on Instagram, sharing her affection for the character Annie Grover. The series is inspired by the iconic ’90s film “Cruel Intentions,” which featured stars like Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, Selma Blair, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Joshua Jackson. The story is set in an elite college in Washington, D.C., where two step-siblings engage in ruthless tactics to maintain their status atop the social hierarchy. The narrative unfolds as they navigate a scandal that threatens their school’s Panhellenic system, using any means necessary to protect their power and reputation.

The full cast includes Sarah Catherine Hook as Caroline, Zac Burgess as Lucien, Khobe Clarke as Scott, Brooke Lena Johnson as Beatrice, Sara Silva as CeCe, John Harlan Kim as Blaise, and Sean Patrick Thomas as Professor Chadwick. Claire Forlani, Nikki Crawford, Isabella Tagliati, Zeke Goodman, and Jon Tenney will also have recurring roles in the series.
