New Netflix Shows and Movies Coming in March 2024

Netflix is gearing up for a robust March with a plethora of new releases bound to draw attention. The headliners include the anticipated sci-fi series 3 Body Problem from the minds behind Game of Thrones, Adam Sandler’s cinematic venture Spaceman, Millie Bobby Brown’s enchanting Damsel, Girls5eva‘s premiere on Netflix after its original run on Peacock, the concluding chapter of Young Royals, and the serialized adaptation of Guy Ritchie’s film The Gentlemen.

Documentaries and reality programming form the second wave, featuring Somebody Feed Phil, the golf-centric Full Swing, the artisanal Blown Away, the culinary puzzler Is It Cake?, the athletic showdown Physical 100, and the debut of Netflix Slam. Other notable inclusions are the series The Resident, Martin, Vikings, and a quirky Korean show about a metamorphic chicken nugget, which seems almost too strange to be true.

Highlighting March’s releases, Spaceman launches on the first, transforming Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman into a space odyssey with Adam Sandler at the helm as an astronaut grappling with his sanity, aided by a conversational space arachnid voiced by Paul Dano. Based on Jaroslav Kalfař’s novel, this film promises to be a mind-bending experience.

New Netflix Shows and Movies Coming in March 2024

Spaceman is followed by “The Gentlemen” series on March 7, with Guy Ritchie’s quick-witted crime narrative now sprawling over eight episodes. New characters, including Theo James’ Eddie Halstead, navigate the treacherous terrain of a marijuana empire, in a series imbued with Ritchie’s signature kinetic style.

On March 8, Damsel presents Millie Bobby Brown as a betrothed young woman who discovers her intended role as a draconian sacrifice and instead becomes a force of retribution.

Wrapping up the Swedish teen saga, Young Royals returns for its third and final season on March 11, picking up from the cliffhanger confession of Prince Wilhelm, promising a resolution for fans of the series.

Girls5eva gets its third season on March 14, now under Netflix’s banner, continuing the comedic exploits of a ’90s girl group striving for a second shot at fame, backed by the creative minds of Tina Fey and Meredith Scardino.

Lastly, 3 Body Problem is set for a March 21 release, marking the return of David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. This adaptation of Cixin Liu’s celebrated novel promises a complex tale of interstellar conflict and moral dichotomies, perhaps offering redemption for the duo after their controversial Game of Thrones finale.
