The third and final season of NBC’s La Brea is set to premiere on January 9, with a trailer that teases an exciting conclusion to the series. The trailer opens with Gavin (Eoin Macken) hinting at a connection between the past and current events, saying, “I know this is going to sound crazy but somehow, the past is tied to all this.” Ty (Chiké Okonkwo) adds, “I believe if we’re successful, we’re going to save all the people we love.”

La Brea follows an epic family adventure that begins when a massive sinkhole opens in Los Angeles, pulling people and buildings into a mysterious and dangerous primeval land. The survivors must band together to navigate this perilous environment, which dates back to 10,000 B.C. The trailer also provides a recap for those who haven’t followed the series from the beginning, summarizing the journey of the survivors who fell into the sinkhole.

La Brea Season 3 is executive produced by creator/showrunner David Appelbaum, along with Chris Hollier, Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Avi Nir, and Alon Shtruzman. The series is produced by Universal Television and Australia’s Matchbox Pictures, in association with Keshet Studios.
