Mumbai is in a terrible situation when it comes to the pandemic. It’s getting uncontrollable and the cases are increasing at an alarming rate everyday. It’s affecting all and sundry. Some of the biggest celebrities have also got infected recently. Here are some of those-
He was shooting for his movie Ram Setu which is co-produced by Amazon Prime India and stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jaqueline Fernandes too. Over 40 junior artists on the sets of Ram Setu have also tested positive.
Aamir Khan testest positive in the last week of March. Aamir’s next movie is ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ and will release on 25th December 2021. A representative of the actor issued a statement, “Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”
The young actor who was shooting for his movie ‘Mr. Lele’ got COVID positive on 5th April. “In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor,” Vicky said in a statement posted on Instagram.
Bhumi is Vicky’s co-star in Mr. Lele and she also contracted the virus. In a statement on Instagram, Bhumi Pednekar wrote she is currently in quarantine: “I have tested positive for COVID-19. As of today, I have mild symptoms, but am feeling ok and have isolated myself. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals.”
Alia Bhatt is currently quarantined at home. Last month, her fiancé Ranbir Kapoor got COVID positive and has now recovered.
After testing positive recently, in his Instagram profile, he wrote: “Positive ho gaya, dua karo.” Kartik walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week recently.
Govinda tested positive after her wife had contracted the virus a few weeks ago.
Paresh Rawal has also tested positive for COVID-19. He shared on Twitter, “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”

The Dangal actor is under home quarantine and following the precautions. Fatima wrote on her social media profile, “Covid sucks. Lost smell and taste.. and a horrible body ache”.
